oneAPI Drives Machine Learning Acceleration
The machine learning course is offered at Fudan University, one of the top undergraduate and graduate universities in China. The course covers the fundamentals of machine learning and deep learning. Professor Zhao will share the case-based learning experience in this course: Utilize a step-by-step approach to analyze problems and apply machine/deep learning theory and algorithms to solve challenges. Acquire experience using Intel oneAPI AI Analytics Toolkit components in specific cases during problem solving. Students will enjoy performance gains when the right hardware and software components work together to increase the productivity of code running on the client or server. The presentation will also describe how students can actively participate in the Intel Hackathon, apply the skills learned in the classroom, and use machine learning, data science, and artificial intelligence to solve real-life challenges.

Weidong Zhao - Fudan University/Associate Professor in School of Computer Science and Technology, Master Supervisor
Professor Zhao joined Fudan University in 2003 and worked in the School of Computer Science. He teaches courses in machine learning, deep learning, big data analytics, and business intelligence at the university for both undergraduate and graduate students. He has published more than 100 papers and more than 10 books in various fields of data science, machine and deep learning.
