Scott will be sharing the momentum of the oneAPI ecosystem across the world with some key examples of how the developer community has adopted oneAPI. He will also share the new initiatives from Intel® to help developers and start-ups to learn and adopt oneAPI. He will also discuss the new capabilities within the oneAPI toolkits as available in 2023.

Scott Apeland - Sr. Director Developer Ecosystem, Intel®
Scott Apeland leads Intel’s Developer Ecosystem and is responsible for defining and delivering programs for software developers world-wide. This includes building a vibrant ecosystem for oneAPI, an open standards-based, multiarchitecture, multi-vendor programming model that delivers a common developer experience across accelerator architectures. Scott joined Intel in 1991 and prior to his current role was responsible for managing new product development, roadmap strategies and partner initiatives in the Video Conferencing Division, Internet Media Streaming Division and Embedded Controller Division. Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from Brigham Young University.
