Ultrasound Imaging Application Based on DPC++ Technology

At present, Hisense medical equipment company is independently developing a new generation of ultrasound platform, and will derive ultrasound desktop and portable devices based on this platform.
The new platform will adopt a brand-new “GPU + CPU” heterogeneous computing architecture. In order to provide users with a more flexible use experience, the new platform places more post-processing functions on the CPU side for execution, which contain some functional modules with more complex operations. The modules compiled with traditional CPU coding have low efficiency and high time consumption. Based on this, the new platform adopts Intel oneAPI solutions to adopt different acceleration schemes for module characteristics.Through comparison and verification, the total running time of post-processing has been significantly reduced, which meets the real-time processing requirements of the ultrasonic system for signals and images.
